Strategic Roadmap

The initiative began with extracting data from Stripe using Stitch and centralizing it into BigQuery. Once structured, transformation logic was built to support churn rate, retention curves, and monthly cohort comparisons. Key KPIs like Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) were derived and visualized using Looker Studio.

Strategic questions addressed:

● How quickly are subscribers churning by plan or sign-up cohort?

● What’s the average lifetime value of customers across segments?

● How can retention strategies be adjusted based on churn behavior?

Subscription Analytics with Automated ETL and KPI-Driven Insights

We automated data replication from Stripe to BigQuery using Stitch, ensuring consistent and up-to-date data refreshes. Churn and cohort modeling was implemented in SQL to define time-based metrics aligned with business definitions.

In Looker Studio, we built self-service dashboards tailored for product, marketing, and leadership teams to support faster insights. Throughout the process, KPIs were refined through iterative validation with stakeholders, improving usability and trust in the metrics.

This setup enabled reliable subscription analytics and accelerated decision-making across key business functions.
